Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White is back in front of the camera for his UFC 162 video blog (part one), giving mixed martial arts (MMA) fans a glimpse at behind-the-scenes footage from UFC 160: "Velasquez vs. Bigfoot 2," which took place on May 25, 2013 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
What's that got to do with this weekend's "Silva vs. Weidman" pay-per-view (PPV) event, taking place on July 6 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada?
Well, not much, but it's still a compelling look at what goes down behind the curtain, like Colton Smith's disappointment in his execution against Robert Whitaker, where he was finished via TKO in the third round after a surprisingly exciting slugfest.
That wasn't the only big story coming out of "The Rock."
Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Forrest Griffin formerly retired at the post-fight press conference (more on that here) and you get a glimpse of him right before walking out to make it official as he's soaking it all in.
But that was then and this is now. We're just a few days away from watching perhaps the greatest of all time Anderson Silva defend his UFC Middleweight title against Chris Weidman while former champion Frankie Edgar looks to find an "Answer" for his losing skid against top grappler Charles Oliveira.
