Mark Nolan

If you're an aspiring welterweight (170) or middleweight (185) fighter with dreams of making it big inside the Octagon, then I have good news for you.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is holding open tryouts for its upcoming international installment of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), branded "TUF Nations," featuring a combat sports reality show battle between Canada and Australia (details here).

Tryouts for TUF Nations will be held at the following dates and times:

Sydney, Australia
Wednesday, September 11, 2013
Location TBD

Toronto, Canada
Sunday, September 22, 2013
Westin Harbour Castle

Keep in mind that you can't be just any schmuck off the street.

All TUF Nations candidates must be between 18-35 years old and have a corresponding passport for the country they are representing (Australia or Canada). In addition, a minimum of three professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fights with a verifiable winning record are required.

Sorry, but UFC and TUF veterans are ineligible.

Submit your online application by clicking here. Also, make sure you bring your training gear to the audition and be advised, you will be expected to pass a drug test, as well as have a clean criminal record. The tryouts will be restricted to welterweight and middleweight fighters.

UFC middleweight veterans and TUF grads Patrick Cote (Canada) and Kyle Noke (Australia) will serve as coaches. TUF Nations is expected to debut in 2014 on Rogers Sportsnet in Canada, as well as TVA Sports and FX Networks in Australia.

So, who among you will try out?
