UFC Quick Quote: Anderson Silva pretends he doesn't know Georges St. Pierre

Can you identify this man? - Mark J. Rebilas -- USA Today Sports

You know, that guy who won all those fights at 170 pounds, hurt his knee last year ... still nothing? Hmph.

"Who? Huh? Can you please repeat the question?"

That was how Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva responded when asked -- by Chael Sonnen, of all people -- what he thought about George St. Pierre's recent prediction that Chris Weidman, who fights the Brazilian titleholder in the main event of the UFC 162 pay-per-view (PPV), would not only beat, but finish "The Spider" this Saturday night (July 6, 2013) at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada (read those comments here). Silva washed his hands of St. Pierre and any talk of a potential "super fight" after insisting the reigning welterweight champion blew his one and only chance to tangle with the longtime 185-pound kingpin. Then again, it probably doesn't matter, since a win over the "All American" this weekend would likely convince UFC President Dana White to finally follow through on his recent promise to book Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones.
