"I think Glover, he's great technique, he's a very strong guy. He's training to fight and he can beat Jon Jones one day. He's good. He's difficult to take him down, he defends all the time and good cardio too. I think Glover can beat Jon Jones."
-- Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida recently weighed in on the next crop of 205 pound talent. While Alexander Gustafsson is getting the next title shot, "The Dragon" tells FightHub he firmly believes that fellow Brazilian Glover Teixeira could beat current UFC champion Jon Jones one day. Machida would know, he's been inside the Octagon against "Bones," testing him for one round before succumbing to a second round guillotine choke. The karate-based fighter has been campaigning for another shot at the champ for nearly a year now, having defeated Ryan Bader and Dan Henderson in succession. Machida could spoil his prediction for Teixeira if he handles Phil Davis in the co-main event of UFC 163 this Saturday night (Aug. 3, 2013). What do you think?
