"He's a stud. He moves around really well, he's strategic for sure. I don't think anyone [can take a head kick from me] and I wonder if he [would like to find out].... I'm not to worried about [if I fight him next]. I'm just going to go back to the drawing board and beat whoever is out there in front of me. I'm going to be ready to go, people are in trouble. Plain and simple."
- After last night's (Sat., July 27, 2013) UFC on Fox 8: "Johnson vs. Moraga" event at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington, Robbie Lawler's stock is as high as it has been in some time and, despite his status as a potential ruler of the welterweight division, Rory MacDonald's has likely never been lower (find out why). That's because Robbie knocked Bobby Voelker out without much issue (watch video highlights here), while MacDonald turned in a dominant but terribly boring performance against Jake Ellenberger. When asked about a potential bout between the two, promotion President Dana White made it sound as though it's a possibility with a "maybe." Lawler was also asked about it at the post-fight press conference (watch it here) and his answer was simple, as you can see above. It sounds like fun but he's not really all that worried about it. Well, Maniacs, does it sound like fun? Lawler vs. MacDonald?
