Pic: Mark Hunt UFC injury update shows leg wound 'healing nicely'

Sorry ladies, but Mark Hunt's career as a "leg model" is probably over.

Looking good, especially considering the "before" pics (see them here).

Hard-hitting Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight Mark Hunt says the "power of prayer" helped close a gaping hole in his leg, caused by infected hematoma he suffered in the wake of his UFC 160 loss to Junior dos Santos at UFC 160 back in May.

I'm sure the antibiotics had something to do with it, as well.

"Well there it is troops," Hunt said on his official Twitter account. "The wound is healing nicely the power of prayer won't be a leg model but can still fight lol."

Hunt's knockout loss to "Cigano" snapped an impressive four-fight winning streak and effectively ended his unlikely run at the division title, currently held by Cain Velasquez and up for grabs at the UFC 166 pay-per-view (PPV) event later this year in Houston, Texas (details here).

At 39 years-old, the "Super Samoan" can still make some noise inside the 265-pound division, but it will be a long climb back to the top of the contender's list for the former K-1 kickboxing champion.
