Will Johny Hendricks be able to defeat Georges St. Pierre at UFC 167 and knock the longtime Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight king off his throne? At least one fellow fighter is hoping so.
Diego Sanchez, who has close ties to St. Pierre through head trainer Greg Jackson at Jackson's MMA, took to Twitter to announce he is "110%" rooting for "Rush" to go down in his next title defense against Hendricks on Nov. 16, 2013.
Also, continuing his anti-Canada fight predictions, "The Dream" sided with former opponent Jake Ellenberger against Rory MacDonald in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 8 next Saturday night (July 27, 2013).
I am 110% pulling for @JohnyHendricks to beat GSP and @EllenbergerMMA to smash rory #USA

Sanchez is a fighter who knows the landscape of the 170-pound weight class very well, having competing in the division 13 times under the UFC banner against the likes of Nick Diaz, Jon Fitch, Josh Koscheck and more.
While he now competes as a lightweight and has a fight with Gilbert Melendez scheduled for UFC 166 in October, Sanchez has no problem sharing his predictions for major fights going down in his former weight class.
