The Ultimate Fighting Championship's (UFC) third FOX Sports 1 fight card, UFC on FOX Sports 1 #3, is quickly to filling up with the addition of a middleweight affair between Rafael Natal and Tor Troeng.
Both men are coming off victories in their last bout and will look to continue the momentum when they clash inside Jornalista Feilpe Drumond Stadium in Belo Horizonte, Brazil on Sept. 4, 2013.
UFC officials recently confirmed the 185-pound match up.
Natal (16-4-1) has won two-straight fights since being the recipient of a highlight reel head-kick knockout from Andrew Craig in July 2012.
The 30-year-old has only suffered one defeat in his last six trips to the Octagon and is 4-2-1 overall since joining the world's premier mixed martial arts (MMA) organization in nearly three years ago.
Troeng (16-4-1) is on a nice run of his own, only coming out on the losing end once in his past 14 fights overall.
"The Hammer" got to the UFC through The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) reality show. He was a favorite entering season 17 of the show, but came up short when Josh Samman upset him in the opening round of the tournament.
Despite losing early in the reality show, UFC President Dana White promised every fighter from the cast would get a UFC fight, and the 30-year-old made good on that opportunity with a first-round submission of Adam Cella at UFC on FUEL TV 9.
UFC on FOX Sport 1 #3 will serve as a lead-in to the TUF season 18 debut and features a light heavyweight main event of Glover Teixeira vs. Ryan Bader.
