"It's not every day that you get an opportunity to fight for a title in the UFC, so I'm thrilled that I got the call. Timing on these things isn't something that you can control, so you have to ‘roll with the punches' so to speak. Aldo is close to perfect as a fighter and I realize that I have shortcomings in my game. On paper it may not look like a good fight, but in MMA things happen that you can't predict on paper. I think the difference may come down to the mental game. If there's an opportunity for a takedown, I'll take advantage of it, but I'm very confident in my striking. So I don't mind if the fight stays standing."
Well, if you're gonna go out, why not go out on your shield? Chan Sung Jung recognizes that on paper, he doesn't match up very well against Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo, but is confident enough to keep it standing if that's what "Junior" wants. "The Korean Zombie" (via MMA Weekly) will have a chance to shock the world (like this guy just did) when he challenges one of the top pound-for-pound fighters for the 145-pound strap at the upcoming UFC 163 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place on Aug. 3, 2013 at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Anyone think we could crown a new champion on fight night? Or will the "Zombie" be finished off with a head shot? Predictions, please.
