Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Fabricio Werdum fight results UFC on FUEL TV 10, Round 2

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum first met back in 2006 in a Pride Open Weight Grand Prix in a ring over in Japan. It seems like a lifetime ago and, in fact, both fighters pushed that as a narrative heading into their rematch tonight (Sat., June 8, 2013) at the Paulo Sarasate Arena in Fortaleza, Brazil, in the main event of UFC on FUEL TV 10.

Both have grown and times have changed but would the result be any different?

Round two saw Nogueira come out just as fast and furious as the opening frame. Werdum wasn't exactly eager to engage so he pursued a clinch and the two went about battling against the fence once again.

"Vai Cavalo" dropped down for a takedown and "Big Nog" tried to jump a guillotine but failed. That left him vulnerable on his back and Werdum attacked as best he could, taking his back first before turning over and wrapping around "Minotauro's" arm.

It was tight enough to elicit a tap.
