"With all respect if BJ Penn needs an opponent when he returns I am more than will. Would be an honor to fight him."
-- Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight Evan Dunham has joined Khabib Nurmagomedov in what will surely be a continually growing list of fighters who would like to compete against former two-division UFC champion B.J. Penn should "The Prodigy" choose to fight in a mixed martial arts (MMA) bout again. The fight requests for Penn began to come about when a report by Ariel Helwani on the most recent edition of FUEL TV's "UFC Tonight" stated the Hawaiian has opted against retirement and began training with the idea of making a return to the 155-pound weight class should he feel mentally and physically fit to do so. Nurmagomedov was quick to call out Penn after the report surfaced and Dunham has wasted no time either, taking to Twitter to express his interest in the fight should Penn one day get back in the cage.
What do you think? Would you like to see Penn face Dunham? Nurmagomedov? Someone else? Or should he simply stay put and not fight again after recording just one win in his past six fights?
