Check out the week that was at MMAmania.com! We've got interviews, comments, fanposts, videos and gifs!

Welcome, Maniacs, to the forty-eighth edition of "This Week in MMAmania.com." MMAmania is a gigantic and glorious place and we pump out a ridiculous amount of content. If you don't refresh this site every 60 minutes, you might just miss something amazing.

Have no fears, that's what this weekly article is all about! We'll recap the best of all things MMAmania, whether it be a great comment, a Fan Post, an article, video or something else.

- Comment of the Week: Sarcasm at it's finest, P-Dub takes a jab at both the UFC's pay detractors and Dana White in light of the news that Paul Kelly is going to the slammer for 13 years due to heroin trafficking.

If only that jerk Dana would have paid him more he wouldn't had to scrape by with a heroin empire.

- P-Dub

- Article of the week: If you missed the interview with elite coach Leo Frincu, give it another chance. There's some serious stuff in there that could help get you off your ass and motivate you to do bigger and better things.

- Statistic of the Week: Maybe everyone is secretly rooting for Chris Weidman to knock off Anderson Silva because two of our most popular articles were about precisely that, one with UFC fighters picking Weidman to win and the other with Silva's manager Ed Soares explaining how Weidman could beat "The Spider." Hrmmmmmmm.

- Fanpost of the Week: Epic Photoshop thread is epic.

- Honorable mention fanpost of the week: AngryTwinkie's Understanding your fellow Maniac post provided some very interesting insight. .

- Honorable mention comment of the week: This one is a duo-winner. You can't go wrong with a good fat joke, and they were out in full force after Roy Nelson got his ass handed to him by Stipe Miocic last weekend. Both Plainview and Edward E had the best quips on the subject.

#1

well he always gives 110%

Or so i heard him say 10,000 times before UFC 161

- SnoopSteele

------------------------------------------------------

I think he meant 110% body fat

- Plainview

#2

Biggest loser has to be Roy

- DoctorMMA

---------------------------------------------------------

Roy should be the biggest loser

or at least part of the show "The Biggest Loser" so he can go fight at 205 pounds

- Edward E

- Interview of the Week: In case you missed it, I thought my interview with top Glory 9 kickboxer Tyrone Spong was rock solid. Check it out if you haven't already.

But that's not all. I also spoke with victorious UFC 161 fighters James Krause and Stipe Miocic, Bellator 96's King Mo Lawal and Ronda Rousey's coach Leo Frincu. Last but not least, Cory Braiterman interviewed former UFC middleweight and Glory 9 kickboxer Dustin Jacoby.

- Video of the Week: How about 100 of the best knockouts in Zuffa history?

Burn of the Week: Ulf Murphy brought the pain in the money pool thread, which is always a hotbed for some serious trash talk.

Besides me, Sarah's the best thing to happen to this place..

- pabloXL

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Besides you?

I can't remember a single decent MMA post you have ever written. You at least know enough world events and cuts to make your posts interesting, but otherwise, you are Johnnyboy without the "lol"'s.

- Ulf Murphy

- Dumbest Comment of the Week: It didn't take long for Randleman to show his face in my Tyrone Spong article about expecting everyone's best shot this weekend in the Glory 9 light heavyweight tournament. Congratulations!

yeah shots of steroids

- Randleman

We don't just have great content on MMAmania, our writers also are very active on Twitter, most notably our beloved Geno Mrosko. Unfortunately, Geno seems to have deleted his Twitter account a while ago, so other Mania writers had to step up their game. Let's see how they did.

Here's our honorary #GenoTime Tweet of the Week: Our very own Jesse Holland had an astute observation about the end of an NBA game.

If you want to catch any good tweets from your Mania writers, here are our accounts: Thomas Myers, Jesse Holland, Adam Guillen Jr., Mike Bohn, Andrew Richardson, George Halvatsis Jr., Jason Probst and Brian Hemminger.

- Obligatory TNA of the Week: Kate Upton 360 body paint, yes please!

Scottidog's "Good guy comment of the week" - This one goes to PabloXL for bringing some rationality and reason to the debate on Joben after getting a response from our dear leader Tom.

Thanks for the update Tom, hope you give him an 8th chance..

..i feel this timeout has come at a good time for all parties involved, more so for Joben. Hes got some other more important things happening in his life that need his attention anyway. If hes allowed to come back, i hope he takes his time. Mania isnt goin anywhere.

- PabloXL

Lastly, let's finish off the week with some Maniac debate. This week, we're talking something completely random.

Which weight class do you want to see Anthony Pettis fight for a title first?

That's it for this week. If you've got an extra suggestions for content, or nominations for articles, comments or discussion topics, please feel free to e-mail me at (and I made this e-mail especially for this): HemmingerMMA@gmail.com.
