The women take center stage next as Rosi Sexton and Alexis Davis become the 4th set of women to grace the UFC's Octagon. #UFC161
— UFC (@ufc) June 16, 2013
Why so conservative?
— Chuck Mindenhall (@ChuckMindenhall) June 16, 2013
Davis has been working hard for a triangle choke while Rosi defends and now starts landing some really good punches.
— Bloody Elbow (@BloodyElbow) June 16, 2013
Rosi Sexton is extremely tough
— Adam Martin (@MMAdamMartin) June 16, 2013
Pretty sure Herb Dean didn't stop the fight as not many of those punches were landing to Rosi's face/head. Mostly on the gloves and arms.
— Joe Ferraro (@ShowdownJoe) June 16, 2013
Rosi sexton just overtook rich franklin as the worlds toughest mathematician. #UFC161
— Seán Sheehan (@SeanSheehanBA) June 16, 2013
Fun fight. Good fight. Important fight. Awesome fighters. But let's end this fantasy that women always steal the show, ok?
— MMAFighting.com (@MMAFighting) June 16, 2013
29-28, 29-27, 29-28. Alexis Davis wins by unanimous decision. A 10-8 snuck in on one card.
— Bloody Elbow (@BloodyElbow) June 16, 2013
Alexis Davis through the softest punches I've ever scene in all of Mma male or female in mma at the end of the 2nd round. She coulda finished
— Brian Rogers (@BRogthePredator) June 16, 2013
FYI @AlexisDavisMMA and @mmasarah are two of the nicest women's fighters ever. Is it any coincidence they are Canadian? I think not. #UFC161
— Damon Martin (@DamonMartin) June 16, 2013
That was one of the least coherent post-fight interviews I've seen. I hope the doctor takes a close look at Davis.
— Jonathan Snowden (@mmaencyclopedia) June 16, 2013
Rashad Evans getting his hands taped while still swagging in his red and blue checker button down and trousers. MMA's truest fashionplate.
— Jordan Breen (@jordanbreen) June 16, 2013
This crowd is pretty well lubed up by now, if you know what I'm saying.
— Ben Fowlkes (@benfowlkesMMA) June 16, 2013
2 pull aparts, 30 seconds apart. Both in the first 75 seconds of the fight.
— Rich Hansen (@MMATorchRich) June 16, 2013
Welcome back, MFC Ryan Jimmo!
— MMAFighting.com (@MMAFighting) June 16, 2013
Goldberg and Rogan are in their own little world right now and I'm totally fine with that.
— Mookie Alexander (@mookiealexander) June 16, 2013
From Jimmo's corner. Guy 1: 'Get up! Get up!' Guy 2: 'Hit him! Punch him!' Fan cageside: 'Do something!'
— Dann Stupp (@MMAjunkieDann) June 16, 2013
Never thought I would ever say this, but I agree with the booing fans in the arena. That was difficult to watch. I'm truly puzzled by...
— Joe Ferraro (@ShowdownJoe) June 16, 2013
That fight SUCKED!!!!!
— Dana White (@danawhite) June 16, 2013
While that decision was being announced a big fight broke out in the crowd. Lots of excitement there
— Sarah Kaufman (@mmasarah) June 16, 2013
No decisions here. It's time for BIG COUNTRY. Miocic is ready for this challenge. This one is going to be a barnburner. #UFC161
— UFCONFOX (@UFCONFOX) June 16, 2013
WOW!!! Even Dana has to be impressed with that ovation for Roy.
— Joe Ferraro (@ShowdownJoe) June 16, 2013
Stipe outclassing Nelson thus far.
— FrontRowBrian (@FrontRowBrian) June 16, 2013
KARMA.
— EL (@TheTomasRios) June 16, 2013
Interesting in Nelson's corner: "This is not the way you're gonna go out." Of the fight? Of the UFC? Of your career? Pure speculation.
— Matt Erickson (@MMAjunkieMatt) June 16, 2013
So maybe Nelson shouldn't have taken a short-notice fight.
— Dave Doyle (@davedoylemma) June 16, 2013
Roy looks like he might just die.
— Nick Yidiaris (@NYid07) June 16, 2013
Roy Nelson looks like shit. Not how you want to show on final fight on contract. #UFC
— Trevor Dueck (@TDueckMMA) June 16, 2013
This is the Miocic I've been waiting for. This performance & win makes him a top heavyweight period! Stipe fulfilling potential = scary 😱
— Kenny Florian (@kennyflorian) June 16, 2013
Not a good week for Roy. Calls Cormier an Uncle Tom, then craps the bed.
— Jeremy Botter (@jeremybotter) June 16, 2013
Roy Nelson is the first heavyweight to lose 4 decisions in the UFC.
— MMADecisions.com (@MMADecisions) June 16, 2013
Stipe MiociC @smiocic proves that MMA Math doesn't always add up as he gets the upset victory over Roy Nelson. #UFC161
— UFC (@ufc) June 16, 2013
My hero vs my homie lets get it @SugaRashadEvans
— Diego Sanchez UFC (@DiegoSanchezUFC) June 16, 2013
Winston Churchill is a bad ass. RT @RJcliffordMMA: Dan Henderson is a guy every man respects. He's like a badass Winston Churchill.
— Luke Thomas (@SBNLukeThomas) June 16, 2013
Hendo hurts him with some big shots with a bit more than a minute left in the round. He flurries hard but Rashad looks recovered
— Bloody Elbow (@BloodyElbow) June 16, 2013
Hendo drops Rashad with a jab in the first round. Takes it 10-9 on my card. Defended a few key early TDs from Rashad.
— Brett Okamoto (@bokamotoESPN) June 16, 2013
Evans's Corner: "Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. Ya good ya good ya good ya good"
— Dizz (@TalkMMA) June 16, 2013
Henderson ahead 20-18 on my score card heading into Round 3
— John Pollock (@iamjohnpollock) June 16, 2013
Rashad isn't what he used to be and I wonder if it's even worth him fighting much longer. He's a way better analyst than Sonnen is.
— Mookie Alexander (@mookiealexander) June 16, 2013
33-year-old Henderson beats Evans. 42, not so much.
— Steven Marrocco (@MMAjunkieSteven) June 16, 2013
@SugaRashadEvans Great Job u won Good pressure great pace. Proud of you my friend
— Vitor Belfort (@vitorbelfort) June 16, 2013

— Joe Ferraro (@ShowdownJoe) June 16, 2013
Two split decision losses in a row for Dan Henderson.

Split decision for Evans. Hendo walks to his corner, rests his hands up on top of the cage, and shakes his head.
