UFC on FUEL TV 10 test results are in from The Comissao Atletica Brasileira de MMA (Brazilian Athletic Commission), which today (June 14, 2013) confirmed that all 26 mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters on the 13-bout fight card tested for illegal/banned substances have all passed with flying colors.
The clean participants were screened after competing at the "Nogueira vs. Werdum 2" event at Paulo Sarasate Gymnasium in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil, on June 8, 2013, for performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) such as steroids and drugs of abuse like cocaine and marijuana, among others.
Results from these battery of tests all returned negative, according to a report by MMA Junkie.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight contender Fabricio Werdum earned a second-round submission victory over former interim UFC and PRIDE titleholder Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in the main event of the evening.
As far as the rest of the card, Brazilian fighters dominated their foreign opposition by going 7-0 and a fighter from the host country was victorious in each and every bout on the card.
It was a historic night of action, as a record-setting eight fights ended by submission.
