UFC 161 is set to pop off this weekend (June 15, 2013) from MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, when former Strikeforce and Pride FC champion Dan Henderson collides with former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight kingpin Rashad Evans.
Each coming off losses, rest assured that both mixed martial arts (MMA) veterans will do everything in their power to obtain the all important "W" to remain relevant in the stacked 205-pound division. And like most fight fans, fighters, too, have their opinions on what will go down inside the Octagon when "Hendo" and "Suga" lock horns.
Fight Hub TV had its camera rolling when former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight champ Randy Couture, as well as Matt Mitrione, Greg Jackson and Joe Warren provided their professional predictions on the Rashad Evans vs. Dan Henderson outcome.
Check 'em out:
- Mitrione: If Rashad has been athletic his entire camp, he can pull of a great victory.
- Jackson: I'm partial to Rashad, I love Dan to death, but I'm partial to Rashad.
- Warren: Dan's got that heavy hand, so I'd watch out, you'll see what happens there.
- Couture: If he can get in range, I like Danny's chances in this fight.
The final tally: Pros have it dead even (2-2), which means that the tie-breaker is up to you, Maniacs.
