First his toe, now this.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight slugger Mark Hunt is back in the hospital this week to tame the infected hematoma that ravaged his leg. The gruesome affliction is expected to force the "Super Samoan" to undergo multiple surgeries to correct.
"Well, there it is guys. That's what happens when it gets infected. Turns into a big hole. Wow. It's like a bullet hole to the leg. It's so much cleaner than it was before. That's one big hole man, dayum."
Do you think it's better or worse than this gaping wound?
It has been a rough couple of months for Hunt (9-8), who also saw his title hopes go out the window when he had his face pushed in by Junior dos Santos at the UFC 160 pay-per-view (PPV) event last month in Las Vegas (replay here). The knockout loss to "Cigano" snapped an impressive four-fight winning streak.
Fans will still #Rally4MarkHunt, but under different circumstances. Understandably, no timetable has been established for his Octagon return.
