The pound-for-pound best boxer alive made his Showtime pay-per-view (PPV) debut last night (Sat., May 4, 2013) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as Floyd Mayweather added yet another championship belt to his already extensive collection with a unanimous decision victory over Robert Guerrero.
The welterweight clash was contested over 12 rounds and while Guerrero may have found some success here and there, he simply couldn't match up to "Money" over 36 minutes.
Big surprise, huh?
They weren't the only two in action on PPV last night. Indeed, Abner Mares scored a controversial stoppage victory over Daniel Ponce de Leon in their featherweight championship showdown, J'Leon Love survived a knockdown from Gabriel Rosado to earn a split decision win, and Leo Santa Cruz beat up Alexander Munoz.
