Thales Leites will get another shot at UFC superstardom when he returns to Brazil for a UFC 163 fight against Tom Watson.

Another familiar face is headed back to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Former UFC middleweight number one contender, Thales Leites, has been invited to compete at the upcoming UFC 163: "Aldo vs. Pettis" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place on Aug. 3, 2013 from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Leites (20-4) parted ways with ZUFFA following back-to-back losses to Anderson Silva and Alessio Sakara. It wasn't so much the losses, per say, but that putrid performances that accompanied them that contributed to his release. Since then, the grappling specialist is 6-1 with four finishes.

And he gets a chance to silence Tom Watson in front of his hometown crowd.

"Kong" endeared himself to the Brazilian fans by taking a big, steaming dump on Wanderlei Silva, telling Wandy to remain at light heavyweight, or come back down to 185 pounds and get "knocked the fuck out." Watson (16-5) is 1-1 since joining UFC in late 2012.

Early predictions?

UFC 163 features a featherweight championship main event as Brazilian sensation Jose Aldo puts his belt on the line against former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) Champion Anthony Pettis, who is dropping from the lightweight division to challenge for "Junior's" belt.
