It didn't take Cain Velasquez very long to assert his dominance over Antonio Silva and put a choke hold on the entire Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight division at tonight's (Sat., May 25, 2013) UFC 160: "Velasquez vs. Bigfoot 2" pay-per-view (PPV) event from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Velasquez knocked "Bigfoot" out in the very first round, once again finishing him off early and with very little effort. An early takedown attempt failed, as the Brazilian defended against that beautifully, but the final result was still the same: Cain on top landing huge punches that forced a referee stoppage. Put simply, Silva is not in the same league and likely never will be. In fairness, there may not be another heavyweight on the planet who can make that claim, outside of maybe Junior dos Santos. That's why you should be pumped for the trilogy encounter between the two that is surely coming.
