UFC 160 'Power vs. Power' video preview featuring Junior dos Santos and Mark Hunt

"Power is something nature bestows upon people," warns UFC color commentator Joe Rogan.

So, anyone else going to be disappointed if Junior dos Santos vs. Mark Hunt doesn't end by way of knockout?

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is billing their UFC 160 co-main event, scheduled for Sat., May 25, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a "power vs. power" contest.

Indeed.

"Cigano" (15-2) has 11 wins by way of knockout or technical knockout for a rate of 73 percent. Hunt (9-7), by contrast, has six of nine, for 67 percent. "The Super Samoan" also has 13 finishes as a professional kickboxer competing for K-1 earlier in his career.

The New Zealander may have the heavier hands and is known for his granite chin.

But Dos Santos has a few advantages of his own. He may be the better boxer and could overwhelm Hunt with speed and conditioning, depending on whether or not this scrap ever sees the second stanza. Both men have just three decisions in their respective careers.

Also in common?

They both have just one defeat inside the Octagon. Junior is 9-1 with a loss to Cain Velasquez while Mark is 4-1, having been upended in his UFC debut by Sean McCorkle back in 2010.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have ourselves a bangfest.

UFC 160 will feature the second showdown between UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez and 265-pound "Bigfoot" Antonio Silva. In addition, Glover Teixeira makes his case for a run at the 205-pound title opposite James Te Huna.
