So, anyone else going to be disappointed if Junior dos Santos vs. Mark Hunt doesn't end by way of knockout?
"Cigano" (15-2) has 11 wins by way of knockout or technical knockout for a rate of 73 percent. Hunt (9-7), by contrast, has six of nine, for 67 percent. "The Super Samoan" also has 13 finishes as a professional kickboxer competing for K-1 earlier in his career.
The New Zealander may have the heavier hands and is known for his granite chin.
But Dos Santos has a few advantages of his own. He may be the better boxer and could overwhelm Hunt with speed and conditioning, depending on whether or not this scrap ever sees the second stanza. Both men have just three decisions in their respective careers.
Also in common?
Ladies and gentlemen, we have ourselves a bangfest.
UFC 160 will feature the second showdown between UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez and 265-pound "Bigfoot" Antonio Silva. In addition, Glover Teixeira makes his case for a run at the 205-pound title opposite James Te Huna.
