Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight Waylon Lowe, who now competes for World Series of Fighting (WSOF), is taking on a new opponent outside the realm of the mixed martial arts (MMA) world.
Kama Sutra Co.
Those are the fiends responsible for "Pleasure Balm Prolonging Gel," which Lowe applied prior to intercourse with his fiancee, only to have it allegedly "burn and scar his genitals so badly that he remains permanently disfigured and dysfunctional."
Lowe's attorney, Thomas R. Kline, explains to Philly.com:
"This is a very private, but very significant loss for a man who is very vital in so many other aspects. This is a man who literally makes his living avoiding injury; he knows how to protect himself. Yet he wasn't provided with the most basic, simple instructions to protect himself from this product. If it could happen to him, it could happen to anyone. He sustained a very significant injury which was life-changing."
The suit filed by Lowe in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court also names the South Street sex shop where the gel was purchased, and along with Kama Sutra Co., could be on the hook for up to $50,000 in damages.
Photos of the paralyzed pecker have yet to surface.
"Flabbergasted" representatives from Kama Sutra insist the active ingredient, benzocaine, is so safe it can be used on children and it has been in the organization's rotation for over 40 years with nearly one million satisfied customers.
I guess that makes Lowe one in a million.
