Jon Jones Nike Free Trainer 5.0 Sells out in Less Than Two Minutes

Just minutes after the release of Jon "Bones" Jones Nike Free Trainer 5.0, the shoes sold out like delicious hotcakes.

According to Malki Kawa, Jon Jones manager on Friday via Instagram

He wrote:

"Thank you to everyone who supported us today, Shoes sold out in less than 2 minutes!!!"

Friday's release was the first ever signature shoe released by Nike for an MMA athlete in the United States. Other fighters have had Nike shoes made in their name but only in overseas markets like Japan.

Jones' shoe was released via as well as NikeTown stores in New York and Las Vegas in limited numbers.

According to source from a representative of NikeTown in New York City on Saturday said that their stock of Jones' first shoe was nearly sold out in 24 hours. A few sizes remain, but the majority of the shoes have already been sold in the store.



The shoe also go on sale buy retailers on for as high as $1,499 with other auctions currently ongoing with numbers for the shoes at $340.

Jones also had a signature Nike T-shirt released at the same time as his shoe, and according to, the "Up to Me" apparel has sold out in the first day as well.



With this great success one can only imagine the number of investors that will be moving into MMA to take part in the young and booming sport.

Jon Jones didn't only open doors for other MMA fighters to benefit from his achievement with Nike, he finally prove that he is already a superstar and he can stand with head high among his fellow sport celebrities like Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Manny Pacquiao and the rest of them, something all MMA fighters and fans should be proud of.

Sources in Las Vegas once said that Jon Jones action figures was the number one fastest selling MMA action figures over there. Followed by Chuck Liddel at ( number 2), Randy Couture (number 3), GSP (number 4) and Anderson Silva.

Hate him or love him, you don't just sell out in minutes if you have no fans. he might not be the biggest PPV draw yet but but with this success, Jon Jones has proved that he is the biggest superstar in all of Mix Martial Arts.
