OK, it's a hot button topic. Of course it is, it insights both politics and religion. This whole thing on Gay Marriage is simply absurd! I think this article from "The Onion" captures it's essence very well: Supreme Court on Gay Marriage, 'Sure, Who Cares'
With that said I love that we are a free country and you as individuals have every right to be as discriminating as you want to be but the government does not reserve that same right. This is a Civil Rights issue. Either you are in favor of Civil Rights or you aren't. On the religious side of things make sure if you are up in arms about topics in Leviticus make sure that you are up in arms about them all. I hate things that separate us. Just live, love and take care of one another. If you believe in God then live your life according to what you believe, love thy neighbor and let God be the judge. Too many people think they are God and have the right to judge and condemn others, their actions and way of life. If anyone should keep something to themselves the Bible is pretty clear you should keep your judgements of others to yourself because "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone..."
