A year ago, it sounded crazy. But now, a run at the 265-pound title doesn't seem so unrealistic. Mark Hunt has just one major hurdle to clear and his name is Junior dos Santos. Can he do it?
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today unveiled the full poster for its upcoming UFC 160 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which is set to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 25, 2013.
UFC 160 will feature the second showdown between UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez and 265-pound "Bigfoot" Antonio Silva. Former division kingpin Junior dos Santos will try to get back into the title picture against Mark Hunt, who was also guaranteed a title shot with a knockout win over "Cigano" in the co-main event (read more here).
With stakes like that, you earn yourself a spot on the poster.
Glover Teixeira, meanwhile, will attempt to make his case for a run at the 205-pound title opposite James Te Huna while lightweight contenders Gray Maynard and "red-hot Canadian" T.J. Grant have also been confirmed for the Memorial Day weekend event in "Sin City."
