Johny Hendricks earns a unanimous decision victory over Carlos Condit in the co-main event of UFC 158: "St. Pierre vs. Diaz" last night (Sat., March 16, 2013) at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The win officially makes "Big Rig" the number one contender to Georges St. Pierre's welterweight championship, as confirmed by promotion President Dana White at the post-fight press conference. It's well deserved too, considering Hendricks seemed to injure his hand during the fight but continued on until the final horn sounded on what may very well end up being the "Fight of the Year." At the very least, it won "Fight of the Night" honors and banked each man an extra $50,000, money well earned after their vicious 15 minute battle.
