Joe Camporeale-US PRESSWIRE
While it shouldn't come as much of a surprise, Rick Story, loser of three of his past four UFC fights, knows his job with the promotion is on the line when he takes on Quinn Mulhern tonight (March 16, 2013) at UFC 158: "St. Pierre vs. Diaz".
"If your backs against the wall, you're going to be fighting for your job. I have nothing else to say, I got to go out and I've got to perform. If I don't, I'm done."
-- Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight Rick Story tells John Pollock of The Fight Network in Canada that he believes his back is up against the wall tonight (March 16, 2013) in Montreal at UFC 158: "St. Pierre vs. Diaz". The 28-year-old faces Quinn Mulhern on the Facebook preliminary portion of the card, and with three losses in his past four fights, "Horror" needs to deliver the goods if he hopes to stay employed with the world's premier mixed martial arts (MMA) organization. Story has had one of the most stunning falls from grace in recent memory, as his current skid comes on the heels of a tremendous six-fight win-streak that included back-to-back wins over top-ranked 170-pound fighters Johny Hendricks and Thiago Alves. With some less than impressive showings as of late, Story knows as well as anyone that UFC 158 is a defining moment in his career.
