Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes today (March 15, 2013) was the special "Fight Club" Q&A guest at the UFC 158: "St. Pierre vs. Diaz" weigh in event, which took place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

In addition to multiple appearances on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), Hughes is perhaps best known for his run as 170-pound champion over the past decade, with memorable wars against Georges St. Pierre, Frank Trigg and B.J. Penn. The former NCAA All-American was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame back in 2010.

He's commonly referred to as "the most dominant welterweight of our time" (though that title is in jeopardy).

Hughes spent around 30 minutes answering questions for the Canadian fans. Topics included his new role as Vice President of Athlete Development and Government Relations, the temporary death of Carlos Newton, the dynamic of Georges St. Pierre vs. Nick Diaz and a whole lot more.
