The British Association of Mixed Martial Arts (BAMMA) held its twelfth mixed martial arts (MMA) event last night (March 8, 2013) as the organization hosted BAMMA 12: "Wallhead vs. Veach" at Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England.

The welterweight headliner saw Jim Wallhead rebound from a loss in his most recent bout in Bellator MMA with a first-round submission over three-fight Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veteran Matt Veach. "Judo" picked up submission win number 10 in his career and kept his undefeated record under the BAMMA banner in tact at 3-0.

In the co-feature of the night, Swedish light heavyweight prospect Max Nunes pushed his MMA record to 10-0 with a stellar performance against Marcin Lazarz that led to a third-round technical knockout victory.
