In case you missed it last night (Feb. 5, 2013), Uriah Hall scored a devastating knockout via spinning back-kick toward the end of the first round in his fight against Adam Cella on FX's The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 17.
It was sensational and scary all at the same time, with Cella apparently unconscious on the canvas for about four minutes before finally coming to his senses. His awkward breathing and length of outage had everyone on the set concerned, with a few folds even shedding a few tears of concern.
After initially celebrating the finish, Hall began to worry that maybe he had killed Cella.
His words:
"I kind of lured him in and set up that kick because he was dropping his right hand a little bit too much. I didn't think he'd block it and I ended up knocking him out. I felt good right after that, but when I saw he wasn't getting up, I started to worry. I was like, "Oh my God, I hope I didn't kill this guy." I just tried to show support and not be a dick at the same time. When he got up and stuff, he was fine with his teammates, I shook their hands and they welcomed that."
