Which was more impressive at UFC 157: Ronda Rousey's armbar or Kenny Robertson's "Ham Ripper?"
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was back in action last weekend (Feb. 23, 2013) for its historic UFC 157: "Rousey vs. Carmouche" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which emanated from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
See full results and recaps here.
During the event, particularly the headliner between Ronda Rousey vs. Liz Carmouche, there was a fantastic display of grappling, which ultimately ended in (another) submission win for "Rowdy" (see it here). But not before the Olympic judoka was tested by the "Girl-Rilla."
And let's not forget Kenny Robertson's insane "Ham Ripper" submission over Brock Jardine.
Here to break it all down for us are Ryron and Rener Gracie in their "Gracie Breakdown" video covering the ins and outs of last weekend's big bonanza. Not only are the aforementioned submissions (and submission attempts) recreated, the boys also talk about how to defend them.
Check it out and let's get some feedback from our mat wizards in the comments section below.
