UFC held its traditional pre-fight press conference a little later than usual this evening because UFC on FUEL TV 8: "Silva vs. Stann" takes place a half-world away this weekend (Sat., March 2, 2013) at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) wrapped its traditional pre-fight press conference earlier this evening for the upcoming UFC on FUEL TV 8: "Silva vs. Stann" mixed martial arts (MMA) event scheduled for this Saturday night (March 2, 2013) at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

UFC on FUEL TV 8 features a 205-pound showdown between Pride FC legend Wanderlei Silva and Brian Stann, a decorated United States military veteran, in the main event of the evening. The main card's upper-half will also feature a Heavyweight bout between Mark Hunt vs. Stefan Struve, as well as a Lightweight contest that pits Diego Sanchez vs. Takanori Gomi.
