Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down ... to the local tattoo shop in Newark, New Jersey.
That's where Alan Belcher will get a British flag tattooed on his chest, assuming his opponent for the UFC 159 co-main event, Michael Bisping, can knock him out in the very first round of their middleweight bout on April 27, 2013 in the "Garden State."
"The Talent" talks to Immunity MMA (see the video here):
"You can take me out in round one? I don't think so. If you can take me out in round one, I will get the British flag tattooed on my chest. That, I promise. I make that promise to the fans right now. You better get your ass to training instead of making little powder-puff movies. Get in the gym and start training. At least try to make it past the first minute."
Belcher also wants Bisping to get a tattoo of Johnny Cash on his arm (see Alan's tribute ink here) if he goes stiff inside the first five minutes. As of now, "The Count" has yet to respond. Perhaps he's having second thoughts after watching Chael Sonnen make good on his shoe-licking wager?
Yuck.
Bisping (23-5) was handily defeated by Vitor Belfort at the UFC on FX 7 event earlier this year in Brazil (see it here), dropping him to 1-2 over his last three bouts. Likewise, Belcher (18-7) saw the 185-pound title picture fade away when he was upended by the venerable Yushin Okami last December in Las Vegas.
With the way UFC has been shit-canning people lately, a first-round knockout loss in "Dirty Jersey" could make an ugly tattoo the least of their problems.
