One of Women's Boxing's greatest fighter, Holly Holm (2-0, 32-2-3 boxing) fights Katie Merrill (1-0) this Thursday, February 27 on Bellator 91. This will not be televised, but will air on Spike.com. Prelims begin at 5pmPST/8pmEST and Sherdog has this bout as the 2nd fight of the card.

Holm trains with Greg Jackson, who holds a collection of female fighters, such as Julie Kedzie and Michelle Waterson. She has a kicking game to go along with her years of boxing, which makes her a complete threat on the feet. If she wins impressively this week, she might be getting a call from the UFC to add to their small stable of 135ers. Holm in only her second fight defeated former Strikeforce Featherweight Title Challenger, Jan "Cuddles" Finney via 3rd round kick to the body TKO.

Merrill standing at 5ft 4 is better suited for lighter weightclass and is moving up to bantamweight for this fight. She is undefeated thus far in her MMA career (1-0 pro, 2-0 ammy).
