UFC 157: "Rousey vs. Carmouche" blew the roof off the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, last night (Sat., Feb. 23, 2013) featuring a main event of Ronda Rousey submitting Liz Carmouche in the first round of their historic bantamweight championship bout, the first women's match-up to take place inside the Octagon. The result was the same as every other "Rowdy" fight in history.
You know the saying by now: Death, taxes, Rousey by armbar. Whatever.
The co-headlining attraction saw Lyoto Machida work his always elusive game to frustrate Dan Henderson over three rounds en route to a split decision win. Boring as it may have been for all involved, that light heavyweight title shot is now his.
The other three main card bouts saw Urijah Faber choke Ivan Menjivar while standing up, Court McGee earn a unanimous decision victory over Josh Neer, and Robbie Lawler knock Josh Koscheck out in his "Ruthless" return to the world's largest fight promotion.
In cased you missed any or all of it -- or just want to keep the discussion alive -- below are links to all the major storylines borne from Saturday night's event in Anaheim.
