With the UFC's announcement of their own rankings thing, I've been thinking that a select few Maniacs can do better. Much like MMA judging, the so called "experts" leave something to be desired when it comes to MMA rankings.

Do rankings really matter that much? No. Would it be fun to put together a Maniac MMA Ranking post monthly/quarterly? I can't speak for everyone, but I would like to try it. Am I a gay homo for bringing this up? Probably. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The concept is pretty simple. Ten or so regulars would email Phasebook (Sorry, dude. It has to be you) with their top 25's for each weight class. The top ten shit is annoying, I miss the USA Today top 25's. 1 = 25 and 25 = 1. Game day bucket go BOOM!
