Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held a press conference earlier today (Feb. 13, 2013) for this weekend's UFC on FUEL TV 7: "Barao vs. McDonald" mixed martial arts (MMA) event.

UFC Interim Bantamweight Champion, Renan Barao, as well as his opponent in the main event, Michael McDonald, were naturally on hand to answer questions prior to their 135-pound throwdown inside Wembley Arena in London, England, on Sat., Feb. 16, 2013.

And, naturally, they were also willing and able to square up for the media in attendance (see the staredown pics here).

UFC President Dana White, who suffered a crippling "attack" just 24 hours earlier while in Dublin, Ireland, was well enough to make the trip to emcee the event. After he and the rest of the major players were finished with their formal press conference obligations, White huddled with media members immediately afterward for his traditional "scrum."

Despite feeling significantly less than 100 percent, the "Sin City" fight boss had plenty to share, including his debilitating Dublin debacle at Trinity College, the fight future of Dominick Cruz, who he hopes is healthy enough to return this summer (and not have to retire), upcoming event scheduling in the United Kingdom (it hinges on a television deal that is "close"), Alexander Gustafsson and his looming 205-pound title shot, the "irrelevant" Cristiane Santos and much more.
