I do believe Pettis takes this fight. First off, as a fan of MMA i am SO fucking stoked about this fight. I think this fight is more of a "Super Fight" than Aldo/Edgar. In my opinion i think Anthony Pettis is one of the most underrated game planners in MMA ( yes i said game planners... sue me). He is a flashy/unorthadox fighter but he always has an awesome gameplan. I dont know if it's him reviewing fight tape or studying his opponent or both but he is one of the best at constructing a gameplan for his opponent. His Fight against Cerrone was absolutely brilliant. He watched how Nate Diaz massacred Cerrone and developed a brilliant gamplan to destroy him (Switching to Southpaw). Now, before you say anything i know that Jose Aldo is a whole different animal but if anyone can do it, its Pettis. If you watch most of Aldo's fights he sets the pace by throwing those BRUTAL leg kicks. He batters his opponents legs and then finishes him off. I do believe Pettis will center his gameplan around that specific aspect. Whether it's catching Aldo's kicks or trying to get him in the clinch. Pettis IS a smart fighter and he will not let Aldo tea-off on him with those leg kicks like Frankie and all of Aldo's other opponents. Reguardless of who your a fan of in this fight, this is going to be a great fucking fight. If anyone has a chance to dethrone one of the greatest, It's Anthony Pettis! Thoughts?
