Prior to the UFC 156: "Aldo vs. Edgar" weigh ins last Friday (Feb. 1, 2013), Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson hosted a question and answer session with mixed martial arts (MMA) fans at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Henderson is one of the most outspoken fighters in the sport, never holding back his opinion on any subject.

"Smooth" was recently successful in his second 155-pound title defense when he defeated Nate Diaz at UFC on FOX 5. There is no rest for the weary, though, as the 29-year-old already has his next fight booked -- a title defense against former Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez at UFC on FOX 7 on April 20, 2013, in San Jose, California.

With his fight against Melendez just a little over two months away, the lightweight spent nearly 40-minutes answering questions from fans about his upcoming fight with "El Nino," a potential match up with Anthony Pettis, how religion helps him as a fighter, his stance on steroids in mixed martial arts (MMA) and much, much more.
