Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight contender Michael Bisping told fellow division stalwart Tim Kennedy to stop being a "pussy" and simple ask UFC President Dana White for a fight.
Kennedy, a longtime serviceman in the United States Army, has no trouble following orders.
So, the former Strikeforce standout took to his official twitter account to ask his employer for a 185-pound grudge match against "The Count," and even went so far as to draw up a bout agreement, similar to the one Daniel Cormier made for Roy Nelson earlier this year (pic).
Dana has yet to respond.
These two have been going back and forth online for several months; however, the stars may have finally aligned now that Kennedy was able to dispose of Rafael Natal at the promotion's "Fight for the Troops" event earlier this year, right around the same time Bisping was cleared to resume training following a gnarly eye injury.
I hear UFC 172 is looking for a co-main event.
If and when these two hook 'em up remains to be seen, but judging by the official UFC rankings (see them here), it probably makes the most sense, particularly now that Anderson Silva is on the shelf and similarly-ranked fighters (like these two) already have a date to the big dance.
Your move, Mr. White.
