Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate will be reunited at the upcoming UFC 170 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 22, 2014.
No, they aren't fighting.
But Tate will be on the scene to corner her boy toy Bryan Caraway, who has been booked to throw hands opposite Lucas Martins in a bantamweight battle expected to air on the FOX Sports 1 "Prelims" portion of the "Sin City" fight card.
Caraway (18-6) is fresh off a third-round submission win over "Brutal" Johnny Bedford at the UFC 159 event last April. The victory for "Kid Lightning" marked his third in four appearances since graduating from season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).
His only loss came by way of close split decision to Takeya Mizugaki last March.
Martins (14-1) represents perhaps his stiffest test to date. The Brazilian was stymied by Edson Barboza in his Octagon debut at the beginning of the year, but quickly fired back with consecutive wins -- and finishes -- over Jeremy Larsen and Ramiro Hernandez, respectively.
Get ready for a war.
UFC 170 will be headlined by a 135-pound women's championship contest pitting the aforementioned Rousey against fellow Olympian Sara McMann. The co-main event will feature a light heavyweight showdown between Rashad Evans and Daniel Cormier while Demian Maia and Rory MacDonald collide in main card action.
