In advance of his fight against Travis Browne on the main card of tonight's (Sat., Dec. 28, 2013) UFC 168: "Weidman vs. Silva 2" pay-per-view (PPV) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, Josh Barnett was touted as a potential challenger to the heavyweight title if he could emerge victorious.
If nothing else, he would be one more win away.
That's because Browne absolutely obliterated Barnett, first landing a monstrous knee in a clinch that buckled "The Warmaster" then following it up with a series of hard elbows to the side of the head that finished the job.
The knockout came after just one minute of action.
That's two big stoppages in a row. Is he primed for a real run in the heavyweight division? He did just knock off the top contender.
