Although there were no clear title implications, a fun lightweight scrap between veterans Jim Miller and Fabricio Camoes went down at tonight's (Sat., Dec. 28, 2013) UFC 168: "Weidman vs. Silva 2" pay-per-view (PPV) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Fun fight was definitely fun.
It didn't last long, though. Camoes came out scrapping early, throwing big punches that were landing hard. He also landed a clean head kick, but Miller caught it and took the Brazilian down.
That was the beginning of the end.
Miller, an underrated submission artist, worked his way to an armbar and finished the fight from there, damn near breaking it in the process. He's back climbing that lightweight ladder again, folks.
How high can he get this time?
