Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is holding a special press conference an hour before the start of UFC 168 this afternoon (Dec. 28, 2013) to reveal details for its new digital network, "Fight Pass."
The press conference is set to start at 6 p.m. ET.
UFC will hold 50 events in 2014 and it's expected that "Fight Pass" will be the outlet for the international events. Those events will no longer cater to the American audience and will instead be more locally focused to each individual market.
"Fight Pass" won't just be the outlet to watch live fights. It will also be the place to view UFC's extensive video library that includes UFC, Pride FC, Bushido, Strikeforce, World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) and World Fighting Alliance (WFA). It will also include past seasons of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), as well as exclusive digital content.
The first event that will be aired on "Fight Pass" is UFC Fight Night 34 on Jan. 4, 2013.
