Video: Rampage Jackson threatens man outside nightclub following ass-grabbing escapade

Jackson comes face-to-face with Rob Halford of Judas Priest (not really) and thankfully cooler heads prevail.

Hands off!

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and current Bellator MMA 205-pound star Quinton Jackson found himself in a scuffle outside the AV Nightclub last weekend after a creepy club goer got a little frisky with Jackson's lady friend, which nearly ended in fisticuffs.

TMZ (of course) was on the scene:

The ex-UFC light heavyweight champ faced off with the seemingly intoxicated clubber outside AV Nightclub early Sunday morning ... after Rampage was told the clubber grabbed his girlfriend's butt.

You can hear Rampage tell the guy, "TELL MY GIRLFRIEND SORRY AND YOU AIN'T GONNA DO THAT S**T NO MORE ... OR YOU ABOUT TO GO TO THE F**KING HOSPITAL."

When Rampage's threat was met with a dumbfounded look from the clubber, the MMA fighter shot back ... "You think I'm lying??? He thinks I'm lying!!"

Eventually, security got between the two and broke up the situation ... probably saving the clubber's life in the process.

Interesting that Jackson would get so enraged, considering how many girlfriends he has humped over the years.

"Rampage" needs to tread lightly while outside the cage. The Memphis native has a history of being in trouble with the law (details) and it's not unusual for people to bait celebrities, which can sometimes lead to a quick payday when hands are hurled.

Not this time.
