UFC 168 is set to go down on Dec. 28, 2013 from inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event has the potential to deliver "card of the year" and will be headlined by Anderson Silva in a rematch against Chris Weidman for the middleweight championship of the world.
Having a seating capacity of 16,800, the arena isn't the biggest venue in the world and with an event of this magnitude, tickets surely flew like hot cakes. Just over a week before the show airs live on pay-per-view (PPV), Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has a plan for all you normal folk who don't have tickets yet.
MGM Grand and UFC have teamed up to provide a special "unique viewing experience" for those unable to attend the event inside the Marquee Ballroom at the resort and casino. Much like it has in the past, UFC 168 will be broadcast via closed-circuit television on location.
Tickets for the UFC 168: WEIDMAN vs. SILVA 2 closed circuit-viewing are on sale now and are priced at $60. Tickets will also be available at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations. Doors for this unique viewing experience will open at 4 p.m. PT with the live action kicking off at 5 p.m. PT.
To watch the Facebook fights, you'll have to stay at home and hop online, but who's awake at 4 p.m. in "Sin City" anyway, right?
