Ultimate Fighting Championship's (UFC) year-end event could not come any sooner, as anticipation is growing for two headlining championship rematches.
UFC 162 will forever go down as the night Anderson Silva was dethroned, and the current champion, Chris Weidman, is out to prove it was no fluke. Weidman will tangle with "The Spider" in the main event, marking the second meeting between both Middleweight superstars in less than six months.
Rousey submitted Tate with her notorious first-round armbar at Strikeforce: "Rousey vs. Tate" back in March 2012. The two competitors squared off as coaches in last season's The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 18, with the Tate-led squad defeating Rousey's team thanks to big wins from Julianna Pena and Chris Holdsworth at the Finale event.
To hype the year-end pay-per-view (PPV) event, UFC.com released a list of its most memorable rematches in history (in no particular order). It remains to be seen seen if both of the aforementioned rematches top the classic rivalries we have seen in the past; however, let's take a look at UFC.com's Top 10 list of classic duels between familiar foes:
