The eighteenth season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) has finally come to a close.
Team Alpha Male prospect Chris Holdsworth entered the show with a lot of buzz. Not only does he train with one of the best camps in the world, but he's also a legitimate Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. He put those skills on display throughout the entire season by submitting Chris Beal and Michael Wootten in the first round to earn a spot on the finale.
Last night (Nov. 30, 2013) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, Holdsworth took to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Octagon to face Davey Grant in the finals. It took two rounds, but Holdsworth proved to be the better man.
The head kick he landed was the start of Grant's demise which ended in the second round by rear naked choke. Holdsworth takes home the six-figure UFC contract and the title of The Ultimate Fighter.
