Tim Kennedy to Michael Bisping: "Go get a couple of wins and then talk to me"

Joshua Lindsey-USA TODAY Sports

Michael Bisping needs to get a couple of wins if he wants to fight Tim Kennedy.

Just days after starching Rafael Natal at UFC Fight for the Troops 3, Tim Kennedy is now the talk of the mixed martial arts (MMA) world. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight is already itching to get back in the Octagon and has his sights set on Michael Bisping.

Now for those that are not aware, Kennedy is not a fan of Michael Bisping. Actually, he loathes him. This because especially true during Bisping's fight with Jorge Rivera which saw the Brit poke Rivera in the eyes, knee him illegally, and then after winning the fight, spitting on Rivera's corner.

This was in response to Ranger Up, a company partially owned by Kennedy, made a satirical video making fun of Bisping in the lead up to the fight.

On Friday night's (Nov. 8, 2013) episode of Inside MMA on AXS TV, Kennedy responded to a Michael Bisping video with some harsh words:

"Thank God we have had soldiers shining shoes since 1775 so we don't have to sound like how that dude sounds. You know, that's horrific. Additionally, he's been in the UFC for 8 years, I've been in the UFC for 6 months and I'm in the same position as he is... Go get a couple wins and then come and talk to me Bisping. Additionally, yeah I have something against him. He's a dirty fighter. He eye-pokes, knees downed opponents, and he spits on their corners. He complains about guys doing TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy), but truthfully, the things that he does in the cage are even worse. I haven't been calling him out, I've been pointing out that he's a dirty fighter and he takes offense to that. So hey, you can rest assured I called the UFC, and I was like, ‘I want to fight Bisping. I want to monkey stomp him.' I don't care where I do it. As long as he fights a clean fight, he has no chance.... I'd love to fight that guy and it's going to happen."

A Bisping-Kennedy bout is pretty much guaranteed at this point. There's a ton of business to be done with the fight, either as a main event on a Fox card or as the co-main event for a pay-per-view. Personally? I'd like to see them as coaches on an upcoming season of the Ultimate Fighter.
