Manny Pacquiao is back! The Filipino fighting machine returned to the ring last night (Sat., Nov. 23, 2013) to square off against Brandon Rios at The Venetian in Macau, China, on HBO boxing pay-per-view (PPV), and he turned in about as strong a performance as one could expect given the circumstances. "Pacman" snapped a two-fight losing streak by absolutely overwhelming Rios, wheeling and dealing ridiculous combinations mixed with power punching and swift movement that Rios had absolutely no answer for. Speed was the big difference, as "Bam Bam" simply couldn't get away from offense he never really saw coming. In addition to the speed and volume, Pacquiao landed some of the hardest shots a fighter could dish out. To Rios' credit, he ate all of them, but that didn't save him from dropping a clear unanimous decision. After a controversial loss to Timothy Bradley and a devastating knockout at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez, this is exactly what Pacquiao needed to get back on track. Now where does he go from here? I'll leave that to you, Maniacs.
