"For having nothing to prove nor nothing to gain. To fight for what it is without reason, without greed, just for the passion to step once again in the arena and be an inspiration for a future generation of great fighters. To prove that age is only a handicap for the soft ones. And above all, because I love it. My man, I'm fighting. It doesn't matter where. Even for free. Last time I checked, I didn't have wrinkles. Not even on my nut sack."
Longtime mixed martial arts (MMA) veteran and one-time Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight Renzo Gracie once again makes plans to step back into the cage, just like he does every year. Whether or not the 46-year-old Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legend actually follows through with it, remains to be seen, but the idea went over like a lead balloon with UFC President Dana White (video), who wasn't sure why Gracie would be looking to scrap at this stage of his career, especially considering what happened in his fight against Matt Hughes on the main card of UFC 112. As it turns out, Gracie told MMA Fighting that he's not doing it for the glory, but rather for the love of the sport, which hasn't even left him with one wrinkle -- anywhere -- since he started way back in 1992. But if and when he does return, who would you, as an MMA fan, like to see him fight next?
